I. What is Weave Hair?
A weave is a hair extension installing technique that involves sewing the extension or weft pieces into the hair. The weave extensions are gathered and secured together at the top to form a hairpiece. Weaves are prevailing in the world of hair extensions. If you like to keep up with the latest hair trends, don’t hesitate to try out Weave Hair Extensions as they are designed to help you achieve your hair goals.

Most extensions wearers come to weft hair since it’s safe and versatile to deal with low-density and lifeless locks. Some of you might be confused between two terms when coming to hair weft, namely weft and weave hair extensions. It can be easily explained that the weave is considered to be the method used to attach a weft and in this industry, both weft and weave can be interchangeably used.
II. Why I Should Choose Weft?

There are many reasons to choose weft extensions over other options. Here are a few reasons we choose weft hair extensions over other options:
- Weft extensions can provide different levels of thickness. It can be chosen, cut, and styled to achieve your own specific desire for length and thickness. In AZ Hair, Weave Hair has the wide range of lengths (from 6” to 34”) and the variety of luxury and subtle colors.
- Weft hair extensions cause minimal damage to your natural hair: Are you worried that your new extensions will damage your gorgeous, natural locks? Don’t fret – this is not the case when it comes to weft extensions. Weft extensions do not cause any damage to the natural hair, and they are safe for using heat products and styling tools on.
- Try a new color or style without the long-term commitment: We love weft hair extensions because you can try out a new hairstyle without the commitment of a permanent cut or color. Heading to a music festival and feeling like giving purple hair a try? No problem. Weft hair extensions provide no-commitment styling that won’t saturate your hair with dyes. This is a great option if you want to experiment with a new look, but aren’t totally ready to commit to a permanent change.
- Professionally applied extensions flawlessly match your hair: If you think weft hair extensions are the right choice for you, make sure you have them applied to your locks in a correct and safe manner.
III. How To Install Weave Hair?
Weave hair can be attached by various methods. Besides being installed by adhesives or clips as usual, the wefts can be weaved, beaded, or sewn to the natural hair of users. So here we going to share with you some ways to install your wefts. Check out what we have below:
1. Sew-in Method

Step #1: Remove a section of hair from the center of your head for leave-out. For a more natural look, you can also leave your edges free. Make two anchor braids around your leave-out to keep your sew-in weaves from looking bulky. For a flat surface, we recommend braiding your hair into cornrows. To secure the hanging braids, use a C-needle and thread.
Step #2: Cover your hair with a weaving net. This is a great way to fill gaps between your braids. A weaving net also allows you to sew the weave hair extensions with more room. If your strands are thick and your braids are small with few to no gaps in between, you don’t need to use a weaving net.
Step #3: Sew the hair weave starting at the nape of your neck and working your way up the cornrows. Begin at the edge of the cornrow and try to keep it as flat as possible. Remember that our main goal is to hide the fact that we are wearing hair extensions. When you reach the opposite end of the cornrow, repeat the process until the entire head is covered.
Step #4: Cut the cornrow once you’ve sewed the end to the track. This will help you get an accurate measurement. After you’ve finished sewing the weave hair extensions, straighten your leave-out and apply edge control cream. Heat styling tools can be used to style your sew-in hair however you want. To protect your hair from heat damage, set the tools to a cool temperature or use a heat protectant. Finish up by adding your own details to the style and make it your own.
“This method suits all types of hair. But this is not recommended for those whose hair is too weak, fragile, or damaged.”

2. Micro rings Method
Micro rings weft hair extensions are one of the most popular ways to install hair wefts since anyone with any type of hair can use this method and they are free of glue and heat. Hence, it causes NO damage and can be reused. Moreover, it’s easy to maintain and take off. You can style your hair in various ways by using this method as well, especially for those who crave highlight style.

How to install wefts with micro rings?
Step #1: Place the weft to where you want it to go. Then use the hair clippers to secure it at 2 sides of the weave.
Step #2: Start from the middle, collect a few strands of your hair with hair from the weft with the same amount.
Step #3: Slip 1 bead onto the loop, pull the collected hair through the loo. Then, insert the hair into the ring and slide the bead up to the top just underneath the stitching.
Step #4: Use the plier to clamp the microbead ring, pushing it up and back to a zero-degree angle. Keep repeating those steps with the rest of your wefts and finish!
In the first week of wearing micro ring weft extensions, you might feel tight on your head. No worry since it will make sure that it is secured firmly even when your natural hair starts to grow longer. Once you are used to it, you will definitely love how realistic it looks!

3. Clip-ins Method

Clip-ins are by far the easiest way to apply extensions to the hair. They are exactly what their name is, clip-ins. The clip is sewn into the extension and allows you to clip the extension into the hair. The clip allows for easy weave installation. Normally people wear these if they want to add some extra length, really fast. It looks great on straight hair. Clip-ins are the latest and greatest thing in the natural hair world, too.

To install, just part your hair where you want the extension to go and clip it onto your scalp like your combing hair. For example, let’s say you were wearing a braid out style with your natural hair and you wanted a full look, clip-ins would be great to use. You wouldn’t even need to add a lot either, maybe just two or three clip-ins around certain parts of your head to give you a fuller look.
